Prima XL pumps are high pressure, solids handling pumps, designed specifically to pass large solids upto 10mm in size, from the pond to a biological filter.

Prima XL pumps are designed to have the power to pump high volumes of contaminated water through he restrictions encountered in most filter systems.

Prima XL pumps have a powerful 230volt motor, which is canned in a protective stainless steel case for reliability. With a ceramic sleeve rotating on a triple lip sealed shaft, the working parts are designed to give continuous optimal performance well beyond the two year guarantee. To aid installation, the Prima XL can be placed flat on the bottom of the pond or in an upright position.
